Our topic this half-term is called 'All Creatures Great and Small'.

We will be learning about dinosaurs and minibeasts. Each week we will base our learning around a different book.

Week 1 - Dinosaurs Galore by Giles Andrea

Week 2 - Dear Dinosaur by Chae Strathie

Week 3 - Lift the flap dinosaurs by Osbourne 

Week 4 - Mad about Minibeasts by Giles Andrea

Week 5 - Bella loves bugs by Jess French

Week 6 - Aaaarrrgghh Spider by Lydia Monks

 

Week 1 - Dinosaurs Galore.

We had great fun starting our dinosaur topic and wrote our own dinosaur poems and had a go at making dinosaur fossils using salt dough. 

Week 2 - We read the book Lift the Flap Dinosaur and learnt lots of facts about dinosaurs and made our own fact books. We even found a dinosaur egg and worked together to make a nest to keep the egg safe.

This week we read the book Mad About Minibeasts. We loved going on a mini-beast hunt outside to see how many we could find.
