Our topic this half-term is 'Our Colourful World'.

We will learn about Autumnal changes and celebrations such as Bonfire Night, Diwali and Christmas. Our learning will be based around a different book each week.

W/C 18.12.23 This week was party week. We had lots of fun dancing, playing games and eating delicious party food.

W/C 11.12.23 This week we have been getting into the festive spirit by joining Santa in the North Pole for a live chat. This was great fun. Santa read us a story and we sang a song together

W/C 03.12.23 The nativity.

This week we performed our Nativity show and made Christmas cards.

W/C 27.11.23 Wide Awake hedgehog.

This week we enjoyed learning about animals that hibernate. We wrote letters to Santa and went on the school mini bus to post them.

W/C 20.11.23 Leaf Man

This week we had fun learning about changes that happen at Autumn time. We went on an Autumn walk and read the book Leaf Man. We then had a go at creating our own Leaf Man pictures.

W/C 13.11.23 Mr Men Happy Diwali

This week we learnt about Diwali and how it was celebrated. We made our own Diva lamps and did some dancing in the hall and tried on Indian clothing.

W/C 06.11.23 Fireworks Night.

This week we had fun learning about Guy Fawkes and creating Bonfire Night sky pictures using chalk.
