Our topic this half-term is called ''Who Helps us?"

We will be learning all about different jobs and the different people that help us. We will be beginning to think about what we might like to do when we grow up. Each week we will base our learning around a different book. 

• Week 1 - What jobs could you do?
• Week 2 - How a fire engine works
• Week 3 - Zog
• Week 4 - Detective Dog
• Week 5 - Super Hero

This week we have been using the book Zog and the flying Doctors to explore the people that help us. We even had time to dress up and pretend to be a doctor. 

This week we have continued to learn some new phonics sounds and continue to look at some new shapes. All the new starters are starting to make friends and are settling in well. 

This week we have been settling in with the new starters, they have all made a great start and I cannot wait until next week. Well done everyone.
