Our topic this half-term is 'Our Colourful World'.

We will learn about Autumnal changes and celebrations such as Bonfire Night, Diwali and Christmas. Our learning will be based around a different book each week.

• Week 4 - Jonty Gentoo
• Week 5 - A Room for a Little One
• Week 6 - The Nativity

This week our book has been Jonty Gentoo, a story about a penguin on an adventure. Our week has been like that, with lots of rehearsing for our play and the children exploring lots of different area.

This week we have started to change the unit to reflect the Winter weather. Our book this week has been The Secrets of Winter, I hope you enjoyed it.

This week we have been exploring the book The Lost Narwhal. Children have been exploring what animals live in the arctic and have been using their senses to explore ice and water. Lots of children have been enjoying the frozen ice and watching it melt.
