Reading is still SO important in Year 3 and ideally children should be reading at least four times each week.

Your child will have access to two books. One of these will be at their reading level and used in our guided reading sessions during the week and another which they have chosen themselves, which may be more challenging. The children will get rewarded with raffle tickets if they show a real attempt at reading 'over' the week. These will get drawn at the end of each term and the winners will receive a book of their choice.
